Entry 18: Schedule [Gantt Chart] (19 August 2018)

This entry will emphasize towards the production planning for  MO-3 & KEV-7's developments in Gantt Chart. Link to the Gantt Chart :  https://goo.gl/C129EG Despite the actual deadline for this project lands on February, the reason for having early finalization of the project is due to other on-going module. The extra time will most likely to allocate for refinements, post-beta testings, and delayed planning, so that I can focus on other module and these module without choking in working phase.

Entry 16: Market Strategy and Branding (19 August 2018)

This entry will concentrate on the market strategy, market timeline and branding of MO-3 & KEV-7  game. For this arcade machine, the strategy is to exhibit in experimental arcade game exhibitions or entertainment facility. These places to exhibit are targeted to it have relevant audience attraction. Promoting this arcade machine will most likely involved social media and digital posters to attract the target audiences. MARKET TIMELINE Pre-Exhibition Social Media: Create Facebook page, provide sneak peeks and promotional video Official Launched Social Media: Upload short Trailer Day to Day Social Media: Digital advertisement for Facebook and Instagram with digital posters. Final Pre-Exhibition Day Social Media: Announce the countdown of the exhibition day opening. Entry 15: User Testings Approach (19 August 2018)

This entry will be focusing on the approaches of user testing MO-3 & KEV-7  game. During the technical development phase, testing and experimentations will be conducted and recorded by classmates, lecturers and myself. The reason my targeted testers is that the testers are able to give valuable feedbacks, especially technical parts and the gameplay experience. Any updates will be in the documentation including feedbacks, prototypes, etc. will be documented in the project blog. The user testing will be prioritized from early alpha to beta tests which involving broadening the target testers for better feedbacks according to the project’s progression. EARLY ALPHA Early alpha test will be tested amongst classmates and lecturers. The purpose of this testing is to identify obvious flaws that might render the game unplayable or almost playable. Entry 14: Necessary Resources (19 August 2018)

Software Unity Engine -  The game will be running with Unity Engine as it is Leap Motion supported. Leap Motion Programme - This programme is required to run the Leap Motion controller Hardware Leap Motion controller - It will be used for interacting objects in the game. PC with sufficient performance - Since the game requires to run a 3D platform game and a Leap Motion controller, I reckon it’ll require some decent performance to run the game flawlessly. Projector - The design of the arcade machine is intended to be compact and small, thus the arcade machine will not have a physical screen instead a projector to be replaced as.
